05/22/08 NY State Horse Breeders Show @ Syracuse, N.Y. at the N.Y State Fair Grounds in the 4H buildings. Show starts at 8am.
Breeders show is over and it was heart breaking to experience the lack of interest in supporting our local show. There was very low numbers in each halter class and we did what ever we could to better different classes to help other faithful fellow App. horse people get points.
05/30/08 thru 06/01/08 NAA Classic , Syracuse , N.Y. at the N.Y.State Fair Grounds in the Coke Cola Coliseum. We show on the 31st. starting at 7am
This show had a good turn out and it was a fun couple of days and great to see our fellow App. family & friends. You included Kari & Brittany.
07/05/08 thru 07/06/08 Lake Champlain Summer Classic ( LCAC ) Plattsburgh, N.Y. at the Fair Grounds. We leave on the 4th. of July for the show.
Wow!!! what a awesome time we had at LCAC with all our App. family & friends. We took Fancy,JD, and Heidi and they all did awesome in placings and made us very proud. Attendence was down this year but alot of other things were going on at the same time and the rainly weather prior to the show made it so some people had to take care of their hay crop.
08/01/08 - 08/03/08 Empire Appaloosa Classic Syracuse, N.Y. at the N.Y. State Fair Grounds in the C.C. Coliseum
We made it through another show and our horses made us proud again. The weanling halter class only consisted of our colt & filly but the experience was great for them and they were very well behaved. Fancy and Linus(JD)did great in all their classes.
It was a great time and it was great to see our fellow App. friends. Thanks to all who supported us and encouraged us with kind words.
08/ /08- 08/ /08 New York State Fair Show-
Well another show down and again the show was low in numbers but a good time was had within our group even though all our hearts are broken from the loss of Carson.( Dillon Middlmiss horse). Everyone recieved great placings and it was great seeing all our friends, supporters, and fellow Appaloosa family. Thanks to everyone who made this show a success.
09/05/08 thru 09/07/08 Cowboy Classic Weekend ; Syracuse, N.Y. at the N.Y. State Fair Grounds in the C.C. Coliseum
Our last show of the season and what a show it was. Our "Clearly Hooked" Heidi came in 7th. place out of 12 horses in the weanling fururity Saturday night and she was up against the weanling stallions also. We are so proud of her and she just keeps getting better and better. Linus, Heidi, and Fancy all placed well in their classes they were in Sunday at the WYNN Cowboy Classic Horse Show. Looking forward to next year already. Thanks to all who made this show a great success.
